Good

The staff was friendly, allowed us to check in early since the room was ready. AC worked well when the power is on. Nice balcony view and pool was good.

A litter farther of a walk to the climbing and beach, the AC was only on from 17:00-10 am then it shuts off during the day so no way to go back to the room to cool off. Bed was a bit hard.

Nice, relaxing resort- albeit rustic and no frills.

The pool was great. Nice resort.

Given the price we paid I thought this would be less rustic. Ants came into the bathroom and got all over our toothbrushes. Bed was rock hard and uncomfortable. Bungalow showed signs of wear and tear like weak spots in the flooring and evidence of termite dust. Given the location, I understand that maintenance and upkeep could be challenging, so I’m not knocking for that. Just feel that it’s a little overpriced for what you get.

No bar or food by the pool and the restaurant wasn't open very often in the afternoon, so we hade to go and get shakes, drinks and food at a different place.

You get what you paid for affordable but not great if you’re looking for a comfortable accommodation

It felt more local and chill compared to Railay Beach

There was no hot water in the bungalow that we were staying in. However, we didn’t ask the staff about it and just decided to deal with it because we were only there for 3 nights.

I liked the location and the pool!

You’re definitely staying in the sticks if you’re in the bungalow with the fan but the fan is pretty good! But watch out for some creepy crawlers in the bathroom for sure.

Pleasant

The location was great for access to climbing areas. The pool was lovely. The aircon worked well but was very noisy.

The rooms a quite overpriced compared to other places in Tonsai. As others have mentioned, my room had a lot of gaps in the door and around the floor so there were a lot of bugs (mosquitoes, ants and cockroaches) in the room. There was what looked like mouse poo in the bathroom.

Peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle of Railay.

The bungalow was nice. Pool was nice too. If you are looking for piece an quite in the area, I think this is one of the best places to go.

Its location was a bit annoying at first. I ended up following this massive wall back and forth for ages with all my gear trying to get to the place (I was just using google maps). Ended up climbing the wall to get to the place. It was simple in the end. There is access either side of the street where the wall is, although quite a long walk around. The whole town/area is behind this wall with shops restaurants and place to chill

It was an overall pleasant stay and would just stay in a room with aircon next time

The staff was very nice and helpful. We were able to check in earlier and use the pool straight away. They dropped us of at the Pier at our departure day. The pool area was really nice and refreshing on those hot days. There's no Power throughout the day, but you hardly notice cause you're up and about anyway and we never returned before 5pm anyway. And you're able to charge your phone at the reception. You have pool and shower towels and you get a couple bottles of water for your stay.

The mattress was unfortunately very hard and the fan in the room was so loud we weren't able to leave it on during the night. Also the water pressure in the shower was so low we couldn't wash our hair. But besides those little quirks it was good :)

Gorgeous surroundings, one of only two mid tier options on Tonsai, will probably stay again.

One of the more upscale options on Tonsai, amazing gardens and wildlife, luggage service from the beach, have stayed here 5 or so time before so feels very nostalgic/familiar.

Reception staff were not very friendly, like we were an inconvenience, no power during the day, pool is very heavily treated with chemicals, bathrooms are rough, restaurant is a myth, avoid pre paid breakfast.

Pleasant. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and the scenery around.

Perfect location near the beach and climbing crags, beautiful swimming pool, nice garden. Quiet place. Friendly stuff. Good wifi. The bungalow with terrace and garden view is spacious enough for two people.

For cleaning you need to ask everytime, otherwise no cleaning. The pillows are two big. The matress is old. When it was rainy, everything was humid, and it’s not nice to stay in the dark without electricity.

Good

Location is great, they provide a free shuttle service to the beach if you need to catch a Longtail with luggage. Towels for pool use are available from reception. The pool is quite nice. The Bungalow with fan room was ok for a couple of nights but would recommend upgrading to at least a room with aircon/hot water which wasn't that much more expensive but much nicer.

I was staying in a bungalow with fan room right up the back of the resort. It's nestled in trees which is picturesque but the trees drop seed pods that make a really loud sound when they hit the roof of the bungalow. I had to use earplugs to be able to sleep. There also isn't hot water in the bungalow with fan rooms which I didn't realise. Beds were very hard. Buffet breakfast is a bit on the pricey side for what you get, better off going elsewhere in Tonsai or the 180 Baht buffet breakfast at The Viewpoint on Railay side.
